Wetpixel/ScubaCam ADEX Imaging party report

This year’s Wetpixel/ScubaCam party was held at the nightlife neighborhood of Clarke Quay at the Scottish bar, the Highlander.. Some 50+ revelers joined the party, including many Wetpixel members in town for ADEX itself. We started late and ended VERY late! There were more than a few hungover revelers at ADEX the next day!

The “early birds” with Wetpixel members Robert Delfs, Alex Safonov, ADEX queen Cassandra, Inon’s Torii-San, ScubaCam’s David Cheung (our co-host), surreptitious visitor Darren Jew and ScubaZoo’s Jason Isley.
Torii-san (if you can’t yet tell, he’s with Inon) has a laugh as David seems unimpressed… maybe he saw the bill?

UW3some’s Matt Weiss came to the after party with Prawno’s Lia Barrett, Marissa Fox, Alessandro Ponzo of LAMAVE, Claudia Winchler, and of course John Thet.
Dietmar Fuchs of Unterwasser Magazine quietly came in for a drink as well.
The conservation contingent with Natascha Kunesch and Samantha Craven of Green Fins reef conservation with a very cool uw photographer Bo Mancao of Dive Local Network.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few notable people missing, including our own Shawn Heinrichs (delayed in transit), Peter Mooney of ScubaPix Australia and Laurent Ballestre (fatigue). Still 50+ revelers joined in the festivities, and the after party was at our previous party location, ME@OUE…but that is another story for another time!
