Wetpixel to attend the Red Sea Diving Festival

Photographers Boaz Samorai and Noam Kortler have organized the Red Sea Diving Festival in Eilat, Israel from 11 to 14 March. Among the events during the festival are underwater imaging workshops, film screenings, and a photography competition. Red Sea Diving Festival

The Diving Festival is a fun celebration for all sea lovers! The festival will take place in March 11-14/03/2020 at the end of the desert winter, at a period that is considered to be the best time for diving in the Red Sea.

Every day of the Festival, there will be a photo exhibition from the underwater world that will be placed carefully on the seafloor! And you - the guests will visit it by scuba diving or snorkeling at the Coral Beach of the Red sea Eilat.

There will also be daily lectures, film screenings, sunset happy hours at various locations, diver parties, Traditional Israeli Saturday night ceremony, a massive beach clean up, and underwater cleaning dive.

Participants in the festival are welcomed to join diving workshops on the following topics: freediving, technical diving, and underwater photography, some will be free and some with a minimal cost.

In addition, during the festival, an underwater photography competition will be held with valuable prizes for amateurs and professionals in underwater photography.

The Israeli Tourism Corporation, Hotels Corporation, Eilat Municipality, and many tourism and diving partners have joined together to create a fun festival for divers and sea lovers, and we hope you take the opportunity to enjoy the sun, sea, and underwater wealth!
