Result: UPY 2023

The results of the 2023 Underwater Photographer of the Year contest have been announced. The winning image is a split shot of an Amazonian River dolphin (Inia geoffrensis) or bota, by Kate Zhou, which was also awarded as the best image from an up-and-coming photographer. Congratulations to her and to everyone that was placed among the winners.

UPY 2023 is Accepting Entries Photo

UPY 2023 is Accepting Entries

The 2023 Underwater Photographer of the Year contest is accepting entries. It offers 13 categories, including Macro, Wide Angle, Behaviour, Wreck and Conservation photography, and four categories for photos taken in British waters. The contest’s rules are available at the deadline for entries is 7 January 2023.
