Inon details compatibility with Olympus TG-6

Inon has released detailed information about the compatibility of its lighting, lens and arm products with the Olympus TG-6 compact camera in the Olympus PT-059 housing.

Compatibility with Olympus TG-6/PT-059

INON INC. is pleased to announce the compatibility of existing INON products with Olympus “TG-6”/”PT-059” (*1).

(*1) Contact Olympus Imaging Corp. for detail of the camera/protector. INON Inc. confirms product compatibility based on a camera/housing available in Japan.

External Strobe Compatibility

The highly accurate S-TTL Auto mode of INON “S-2000”, “D-200”, “Z-330” is supported in addition to Manual flash mode etc.

*INON strobe is not supported by Olympus “wireless RC flash system”. Make sure to set the camera’s built-in flash setting to “Fill-in flash” when using with INON strobe.

When using INON strobe, INON “Optical D Cable Type L/Double Hole Rubber Bush Set” product is required to plug in “PFCA-03 Optical cable adapter” which comes with the PT-059 housing.

LED flashlight Compatibility

Wide variety of INON LED torch products are also usable both for still and video. Especially “LF2400h-EW”, ”LF1100h-EWf” or ”LF650h-N” is recommended as these models deliver quality 6500K constant light to benefit higher color reproduction index.

Attachment Lens Compatibility

By attaching INON “Step-up Ring 52-67” on the “PT-059”, below listed INON attachment lenses are usable. As the “TG-6” offers advanced micro telescopic mode, macro lens is not required unless you need macro imaging without zooming.

For wide imaging, INON “UWL-H100 28M67 Type2” (1)(2) is compatible and its super dome option ”Dome Lens Unit II for UWL-H100” (*1) further increases to shoot semi-fisheye imaging.

Also INON underwater micro fisheye lens ”UFL-M150 ZM80”(*3) is compatible to capture underwater world through a view of a tiny fish to create unique image only by this lens.

(*1) Only usable when camera’s focal length (zoom position) is set to 28mm (35mm film equivalent) like when selecting conversion lens “PTWC-01” in accessory setting via Live Control. The “UWL-H100 28M67 Type2” (and combination with ”Dome Lens Unit II for UWL-H100”) is designed to deliver optimal image quality when camera’s focal length is set to 28mm (35mm film equivalent).

(*2) Using on land with zoom wide end will have vignetting. Crop an image after shooting or slightly zoom to telephoto side.

(*3) Optional “M27-M67 Mount Converter for UFL-M150 ZM80” is required.
