Inon announces Z Mount Adaptor
Inon has announced the Z Adaptor MV 1/4-20 UNC. This allows a ball to be attached to a standard tripod fitting on a camera or housing. In addition, the comoan has released a series of adaptor screws that allow the Z Adaptor to be used with their Mount and Lens Adaptor bases.

Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC
INON INC. is pleased to announce official release of Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC to attach the ball joint directly on the bottom of an underwater housing which is equipped with tripod screw hole of 1/4-20UNC. Also its optional accessories, 1/4 Male Female Tripod Screw and 1/4 Male Female Tripod Screw (for Grip Base D4) are released same time to use the Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC for INON Mount Base/Lens Adapter Base products on August 25, 2016.

Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC
A ball adapter specifically designed to screw on tripod screw hole (1/4 in. 20UNC) which is generally equipped with a digital camera/underwater housing in the market enabling to attach camera system on INON arm system, Direct Base III etc. via Clamp III.
This adapter offers various applications as connecting part including attaching compact digital camera on D-SLR camera/housing or attaching on INON weight plate to use diving weight as a tripod base to hold camera system.
The ball-joint is made from plastic to provide flexible positioning without loosening a clamp to provide comfortable adjustment.
1/4 Male Female Tripod Screw
An optional accessory equipped with 1/4-20UNC female tripod screw hole and 1/4-20UNC male tripod screw to attach Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC on INON Mount Base/Lens Adapter Base by replacing with original tripod screw of INON Mount Base/Lens Adapter Base(1).
(1) This product is only replaceable to 1/4 Tripod Screw (Silver) which has silver thread with black resin knob. Other 1/4 Tripod Screws are not compatible. So LD Lens Adapter Base FXF500, LD Lens Adapter Base DC46 and LD Lens Adapter Base DC46/49 are not compatible as their original Tripod Screw is not replaceable one.
1/4 Male Female Tripod Screw (for Grip Base D4)
An optional accessory equipped with 1/4-20UNC female tripod screw hole and 1/4-20UNC male tripod screw to attach Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC on Grip Base D4 by replacing with original tripod screw of Grip Base D4(2).
(2) The 1/4 Male Female Tripod Screw (for Grip Base D4) is not required when Grip Base D4 is attached on INON Mont Base/Lens Adapter Base. The Z Adapter MV 1/4-20UNC can be attached directly on tripod screw hole of D Base SPS on the Grip Base D4.
