Ikelite has released two vacuum leak check systems for their housings. Both are self install, one has a valve suitable for 1/2 inch holes and the other, 3/8 inch. The kits include a pump with a gauge and the necessary tubing. Ikelite is also offering all the parts separately.

The kits will retail at $185 each, with the 1/2 inch kit being available now and the 3/8 inch kit shipping in early February

Vacuum Kit for Accessory Port 1/2 Inch Holes

Product Details

Vacuum valve fitting for housings with a spare 1/2” accessory port. The valve’s low profile avoids interference with control operation. The included waterproof plug is secured to the fitting to prevent accidental loss. Includes vacuum pump with gauge.

This valve is installed quickly and easily by securing one nut on the inside of the housing. The housing does not need to be returned to the factory for installation.
