We are sure the Wetpixel community are aware of the swathe of destruction that hurricane Irma has carved through the Caribbean and, it seems, will be doing again in Florida shortly. Following on this storm’s heels are two more hurricanes. Whilst there is little many of us can do to directly help those affected by these events, we all have friends and diving operations that are being impacted right now.

Wetpixel has set up a direct fundraising campaign via Facebook to raise money for Direct Relief’s efforts to provide medicine and other health-related services in affected areas. Direct Relief focuses on health and disaster preparedness, and is providing medicine and other health-related services in affected areas. Direct Relief has a 100% rating on Charity Navigator.
