Adobe Previews new Lightroom Functionality

Adobe Lightroom on Wetpixel

Adobe has released a “sneak peak” of some new functionality that they play to add to Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw. The Advanced Color Grading tool will replaces the previous Split Toning panel. Using a three-wheel interface, the new tool will allow user to adjust color values in the midtones.

Each wheel works alongside a slider to provide complete HSL control for highlights, midtones and shadows. There’s also a global color wheel for more general adjustments, as well as a blending slider to help boost or reduce your adjustments, depending on the look you’re going for.

Adobe has not mentioned when the new tool will roll out, but has said that it will be discussing it further at the Adobe MAX conference next month.
