Come photograph sharks in the Bahamas with Wetpixel aboard the M/V Shearwater! March is a fantastic time for shark encounters in the Bahamas because the water temperature is a little colder than it is in the summer months. We'll definitely see tiger sharks, lemon sharks, reef sharks, and will have a good chance of encounters with great hammerheads and bull sharks.

Before you contact us to book, please familiarize yourself with the information found in the folllowing travel journals. They will give you a good idea of what to expect:

Winter shark trip journal links: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

NOTE: We screen our passengers, and accept advanced divers with shark-diving experience ONLY. I hate to have to say this, but please do not book if you are squeamish about using bait to attract sharks. We will absolutely be baiting sharks in, and do not want to fight with you about the issue.

The trip leaves out of Palm Beach, Florida, on the evening of March 10, 2008. We return on the morning of March 18, 2008.

To book, please contact Eric Cheng. There are only a few spots available, so act quickly! Trip has booked full. Contact me to get on the waiting list, and be sure to mention the trip dates.

  1. Eric,

This trip should be in its second day. Did it go with all the media stuff going on?

Also, rumor has it that you are one of the six photographers who have the new Canon MkIII housings. Is that true? With a 1D or 1Ds? If not you, do you know who has them?
