Stephen Frink has posted Stingray Ballet, a video shot on a Canon 5DMKII DSLR onto YouTube. The footage was shot at Grand Cayman's Stingray City, with a 14mm lens in shallow water, using available light and the now well-known "white fin" white-balance technique.

  1. Wow this video is gorgeous!
Was the ray “hypnotized” by the diver, or is it just a very friendly animal?

  2. A truly gorgeous and mesmerizing video!  Kudos! The white balance works perfectly.

Here’s the exact location of Sting ray City on BlooSee: http://bit.ly/9DA8qN (which has a link to this video as well).
