Intova is dedicated to providing underwater photography products to the consumer at low price points, perfect for the casual vacation photographer who wants a simple, no-fuss system to capture their experiences. The company has continued to upgrade their cameras and housings, now offering the SP880 system, complete with an 8MP camera with 2.5” LCD that is waterproof to 10 feet out of the housing, or 130 feet with. The camera has a 38mm to 114mm equivalent focal length and three underwater modes, and both camera and housing are shock-resistant. Also on display was the IC10 10MP camera with 3” LCD rated to 180 feet, a revision to last year’s IC800 camera and housing system. This housing is compatible with the Intova wet-mount wide angle (75° field of view underwater) and macro lenses.

Expanding the Intova strobe lineup is the ISS2000, with a guide number of 60 on land and a depth rating to 180 feet. The strobe runs on 4AA batteries for up to 120 flashes (on standard alkaline), and has multiple pre-flash settings for compatibility with most compact cameras. There are no sync-cord bulkheads on the strobe; it instead utilizes a fiber-optic cable attachment for slave triggering with four manual power settings.

Joe Ganahl, president of Intova, also showed off the new Supernova 3-LED dive/focus light, with a built-in Lithium-ion battery (2-hour charge) that allows for a 3-hour burn at approximately 500 lumen.
