Canon has announced their first fisheye zoom lens, the EF 8-15mm f4L. This lens is compatible with all EOS DSLR, regardless of APS size. With full frame APS sensors, it can give a 180° circle image. It also has an optional lock for APS-H/C (1.3x/1.6x crop) sensors to prevent vignetting. The MSRP is $1500 and expected to ship in January 2011. Also announced are the Extender EF 1.4x III/2x III, EF 70-300mm f4-5.6L, 300mm f2.8L II and 400mm f2.8L II. The telephoto primes have been lightened and also feature cinematographic focus features, among other improvements. The new IS now compensates for 4 stops. All have improved optics for sharper images.

Comment(s):Initial UK Prices:
8-15mm £1499.99
70-300mm £1599.99
300mm £7499.99
400mm £11499.99
1.4x £549.99
2x £549.99
I think that the 300 & 400 are crazy prices considering you can pick up a 500mm f4 or 600mm f4 for between 51/2 and £7000, the 400mm is almost double that of the current 400 f2.8, which is a fantastic lens in itself!8-15mm has peaked my interest on the 5D though :)
