pssst! I heard a rumor today. Nexus Canon 1D/1Ds Mk II housing by DEMA, and a Canon 5D housing sometime after that.

Nexus fans, rejoice!

Nexus have been entirely Nikon focused up to now. I think this shows a trend of a real shift of housing manufacturers' attitude to housing Canon's DSLR cameras. Indicative of a larger trend which is also good news for Canon users.

I think they will make more money housing Canon dSLRs. Canon users upgrade their cameras (and consequently housings) a lot more often than Nikon users .

Yeah-- it's something called "revving the product line." Perhaps one day, Nikon will start doing it as well.

Don't worry Luiz, Nikon's going to announce the replacement for their 3 year old D100 on Sept. 1st. ;-)
