I recently christened my Canon 20d in its new Ikelite housing using the 10-22mm wide angle with the Ikelite-recommended dome port. I was pretty annoyed at finding on my return that approximately half of my shots carried a reflection of the lens and it's markings in the lower half of the shot. Can anyone tell me how to avoid this as I'm not happy about spending several thousand ponds to get this kind of result.

Hi and welcome to Wetpixel,
The problem w/ this lens is the silver body and writing. Anything that sticks out into a dome port needs to be matte black.
Stephen Frink recommends using a rubber lens hood that fits over the lens and blocks reflections. You should also use a black permanent marker and/or paint marker to cover the reflective text on the lens.
