Ikelite makes an 8" dome (using the Aquatica dome) that is so far compatible with the Nikon 12-24mm, the Canon 10-22mm and the Sigma 15mm for either Nikon or Canon. The website says something about mounting systems for the 10.5mm being offerred. Is this available yet? If so how does it work?
Aquatica also makes an adapter for their 8" domes for Ikelite. Someone posted here a few months ago that it worked with the 10.5mm but maybe not with the 12-24mm and there was no word on availability. Is this version available and does it work with both the 12-24mm and the 10.5mm? How about the extension threads. Ryan in a previous post suggested that you shouldn't re-mount the Ikelite extension to the dome since the delrin threads are touchy. How about the Aquatica version?
So. Now that these things have been announced for a few months, what is currently available? Who is shooting what?
Still seeking a solution that lets me shoot Ikelite with the 12-24mm, 10.5mm and 15mm all with the same dome (and extensions).

when talking about the 8" dome mounted on ikelite plate: any idea if the tokina 12-24mm will work properly behind the 8"dome? I am really interested in this lens and ikelite crew was not able to answer this question. I read somewhere that the zoom clamps fit like a glove... But would the lens be placed properly? Would the broken rays meet exactly at the entrance of the pupil?
Secondly, the 8" dome is not to be used with 10.5mm... are they going to be making any extensions to get it working in this combo?

New mold is complete and we are waiting for sample parts. Believe 10.5 will operate in the new dome, as will the 12-24 Sigma and Tokina lenses.............
It'd be great if the port works well for both the 10.5 and 12-24 ... and I assume if it works for the Nikon 10.5/2.8 DX FE, it'll work for the very similarly dimensioned Nikon 16/2.8 FE, too???
