Just returning from Tobago. This is not one of my top favorites for dive destinations but I got to try my new equipment, e.g., Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II plus the Subal housing. The lens I used was the Canon 100 mm Macro which I like alot. The strobe was a compromise since I have run out of money for now, i.e., Ikelite DS125. Everything was taken in manual mode using the fact that this camera is very friendly to the higher ISOs like 500-640.
The housing worked very well and the camera captured the detail missing from my previous unit, Nikon Coolpix 5700.
These are some of the basic subjects since the dive operators in Tobago do not seem to be focused on anything smaller than a nurse shark. I am still learning how to find good stuff myself. The last photo is the most unique for me, e.g., a short nosed bat fish.
