I found a cheap (brand-new) Nikkor AF-D 60mm Micro f2,8 D at e-bay.
Now somebody told me that it is cheap because a new Nikkor Micro
will be available in the future. Does anybody know if this is true?
I have already ordered the port for the 60 micro.
So shall I go for it or wait a bit for a new lens.

Canon has just announced a new 60mm macro lens, but Nikon has not yet. It is of course possible that they will announce something during the ongoing PMA show, but I'm not aware of any strong rumors to suggest that a new 60mm is on the way.

Even if it was announced right now you probably would not be able to get it for 3-6 months. I would not worry too much wink.gif

<edit: 20mm macro! sheesh Craig>

The 60 is a fantastic lens and if you can get it cheaper you should buy it.
If a new model would come out , I don't think it'll be cheaper than the "old" 60mm...

I agree. I think that the 60mm is very sharp and I'd be surprised if Nikon had plans to replace it. There are several other areas in their lens line up where I'd like to see them working.
Buy it. You won't regret having a 60mm.

Thank you for your advise. Now I am convinced to purchase it at e-bay.
Alex,- I hope your countdown is correct and it does not need to be re-launched...

Nikon UK and dealer said today that my count down was still spot on. Just need to get a delivery from Austria, that I was expecting by now, and I'll be happy. Although my 10.5mm is away on holiday in the Red Sea this week!

Some parts of my homepage are under construction and were not available the last days. The full res. pics should be up by end of the week.
I hope it's up and complete in 2 weeks...

Cheers
