Full Version: GROUND RULES! (important)
Wetpixel :: Underwater Photography Forums > Gear Lust > Classifieds Area > Classifieds
echeng
Buy/sell/trade your gear here. Please act responsibly. Wetpixel is not responsible for anything that happens here, so use your best judgment when making purchasing decisions.

No commercial posts! This means that if you are a dealer or business, you may NOT post your used stock here unless the item is something you are selling personally.

If you are a participating member of Wetpixel.com (i.e. you post in the forums in some capacity other than a seller), you may post links to eBay ads and other auction ads.

Also note that double posting for the same items is not allowed. If you want to update the original post for whatever reason, please post a reply to the original thread and not a new topic. However 'bumping' or adding replies to keep the thread current is allowed in reasonable amounts, say once a week. You must also provide pricing for the item/s.

Once you have sold the item, please add a post to notify readers the item is sold. In addition, you may approach moderators to modify the title to SOLD.

Eric,

I wish folk would place "SOLD" in the original line. I like keeping the items up on the board for reference, but would like to save time by looking for unsold items first.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott - I don't think people can modify their own titles. sad.gif

Per Scott's suggestion, I've been trying to keep an eye on those topics in which items have sold, and edit the topic titles accordingly.

Thanks, Matt. I'll modify my own topics to save you time. smile.gif

how come there is a warning (!) mark next to my wtb topic

When you first created the topic, you must've accidently selected the ! icon as a post icon. It is not a warning but an indicator of the poster's intentions. Sorta like a smiley face etc. You can remove it if you edit your post.

How do you edit a post (classified?)

is there any way to delete my own post?

You can edit posts for 24 hours. Just remove the content and leave a message in the body of your post for a moderator to delete.

Hi Guys,
As this forum is about u/w photography,
is it possible to restrict the classifieds to photographic equipment only ???
Otherwise it has the ability to open "Pandora's Box"...

This is a ground rules topic. I'm locking it. If you need help or have a suggestion, please use the feedback forum or general Wetpixel contact form.
