Check out this story at Rob Galbraith's site.

Long and short of it, you can download a form for $1,000 off a 14n. If you buy from B&H, the price quoted is $2,699.95, so you could potentially get a 14n for $1700.

Sounds to me like they're trying to dump stock for a successor to be announced at PMA.

Who would have thought you could get a 14 MP SLR for less than what a D60 cost 18 months ago??? blink.gif

Tom

p.s. i REALLY wish you could edit the subject line of the post...

According to subsequent posts on www.robgalbraith.com, the $2699 price includes the $1000 discount. Still, a good price but not the super-bargain the same camera would be at $1700 apparently.

I wondered about that, whether it included the discount already. Even still, $2600 for a camera that listed for $5000 and only started shipping 6 months ago...

At $2600.00 your getting one hell of an imager. They are still £3999.00 here in UK.

Please don't tell me I have to bring you a camera this year.

Must start sherpa training soon.
