Did a one day dive trip to Santa Cruz Island today on the Conception.

A good day of diving.

The exceptional was on the way home. We came across a humpback whale. This whale would not leave us alone. Circle and went under the boat for maybe a half hour. Presumable rubbing himself against the hull to get rid of barnacles. Would continually blow when eside the boat. If you were in the way, look out! Whale snot sure does stink and stick to you.

An amazing experience. Captain Jerry, who has run the Conception forever, said it was his best whale encounter ever.

My camera, with the 10-17 on it, was locked away in it's housing in a locked case. So I had to dig it out. Missed most of the best action.
