Once again I am running my Red Sea photo workshop in June 2010.

Similar format to previous years. Red Sea. 27th June - 4th July 2010. £1125. All in London to London. Possible without flights.

Topside photos from last year. My underwater images from last year.

Will post more info when in the next few days - once I have got it up on my own website too! Contact me for more info and/or to book a spot.

Alex, what is the price not including flights (arriving from Israel)...I suppose the meeting point is Sharm?

Alex_Mustard
Yep, leaves from Sharm. Flights are usually about £200 of the package, but so far all those who have booked have got flights, so I don't know the exact figure. I will speak to the travel agent in the next day or so and confirm.

*sigh* someday... wink.gif

I doubt I can swing a workshop in 2010, but maybe by 2011 my finances will be stable enough to make one!

Hi Alex,

I am interested as well. I would fly from Paris. What is the cost ex-flights?

Oupssss... Do you accept Froggies on your workshop, and non photographers on board ?

Thanks,

Damien

Hi Alex,
Have you any idea of the flight times departing London? I'm diving from the 25th to the 27th around Lundy. I would have liked to do one of your Red Sea workshops, but this may be cutting it just a tad to fine, but if times permit then I could be up for it.
Cheers

Afraid it is a morning flight. This means we arrive on the boat at a reasonable hour, for once.

I will check with the travel agent to get the exact price reduction without flights, either today or tomorrow - but of the order of £200 GBP.

Since I started running photo workshops I have always tried to encourage very international groups. I feel this is very beneficial exposing everyone to equipment, techniques, ideas and philosophies they may not have come across at home. My workshops do not have a competition element, and I promote a generous and sharing attitude amongst the group. So hopefully you will not just learn from me, but from each other. I know I always learn something. I have enough regulars coming back that this attitude is maintained.
In the last few years that has meant photographers coming together from UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Holland, Italy, Serbia, Switzerland, Australia, Venezuela, Cayman Islands and India.

I do not mind non-photographers coming, but the price is the same for them. In the past people have brought wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband etc to dive with and or model for them. I think that there are already a few better halves coming on this trip.

Alex

p.s. I will post some more detailed info on the trip (which is similar to previous years) when I have typed it up.

If anyone else knows of a similar photography biased one in the Red Sea in early June or May please let me know

Sorry for the slow update on this one. The trip is £925 as a Sharm to Sharm trip - for those who want to make their own travel plans.

Hi Andy - just seen your question - FWIW yes I will be there - same ocean rules as usual - just stay out of the bat cave.

Jarret also I understand will be making his customary untidy appearance and loosing his way between the dive deck and cabin ( no change there then ).

That would be cool - sad to admit it but am a virgin on this wreck - so I am following Ralph (same ocean rules apply).

Followed your Mr J Brown once - boat found and picked us up eventually.

Stick with me, Paul; I reckon I know more of that wreck than most divers!

It is certainly music chairs on this trip this year. Glad I am not doing it on 2011!

Anyway, the previous two spaces are now filled, but now a couple have dropped out - so there are two spaces going. Ideally I would like to fill these with a couple/buddy team - as they are for the same cabin.

Please get in touch.
