Help!!

I'm pulling my hair out smile.gif

I just bought a entire DSLR set up, consiting of a Ikelite Housing, dual DS-125 strobes, everything to shoot beautiful UW pics.

I been watching what everyone on the local dive charters have been using for bringing their gear onto the croweded dive boats.

I seen a bunch of people using soft coolers, and I thought, what a great idea!

I can't find any that will accomadate the rig. I seen people use soft coolers, beach bags, for large beach towels, etc, and of course, the ol Pelican cases, which are hugh, and just not effictive for a crowded dive charter.

Any idea's, I'm just about ready to start lugging my rig around, and would like to do it safeley, and not to crowd the dive boat with all my luggage, any ideas????

Get the 36 pack cooler. It doubles as a rinse tank.

What do you think?

I use a soft case that doubles as a rinse tank. Check this one out at Underwater Phototech (www.uwphoto.com). It easily accommodates my camera with housing and strobes.

IMHO, the 100 can cooler is way too big for what you need. The 36 is big enough for an Ike housing with 8" dome and dual DS-125s - ulcs arms.

Low tech solution - when you get to whereever you are going, buy a bucket (or better yet, ask the dive center to loan you one). Put your camera in it. You may have to unscrew the arms from the housing handles, but that is easy to remove/re-attach.
