For those of you thinking on a change from Subal to Sea&Sea housings here is a new adaper so you can use your Subal ports (specially the expensive glass domes!)
It´s aluminum made and was designed to fully comply with all the optical distances between camera-lens-port as if you had the subal housing: (all pics from Francesc Fontanals´ websites, a great spanish photog)

They also make a new port for the canon 60mm. I´s made of optical glass and fits the lens length without excess room:

I have been banging on that more and more people should be making these things. Great to see something on the market.

I agree, I think port adapters are a great idea and I have two of them :-). If possible, and like SAGA has done, the adapter should be as low profile as possible, so they can still be used with lenses like the fisheye, that require no extender.

Whilst I really do agree with you Alex, and think that more adapters should be available, I can foresee potential problems with warranties and flooding insurance! Just worth noting so that users are aware.

My master machinist friend will be offering 8" domes with machined adapters for any manufacturer's housing mount. He's made one for me for the Sigma FE with my Subal 10D/5D Housing.

They now have a nice website

www.sagadive.com

with a lot of interesting things including all kinds of lights, floating arms, clamps, trays etc. But the most interesting things IMO are the port adapter to use 67mm (inon etc..) wet lenses:

The sea&sea adapter to use subal ports:

nikon 60 and 105 canon 60mmEFS glass ports to use with Sea&Sea housings. It´s an only one o-ring solution (Sea&Sea´s original system needs two because of the adapter). Both come with an o-ring upfront to fit wetlenses etc...:

Check out this friend´s housing from the spanish forum outfitted with Saga: inon adapter, floating arms, led focusing light with adapter, nikon 105 port and inon lens adapter... I think they make useful and smart things but also beautiful ones!:
