This may be over simplifying, but I believe it's to "call Spock".

yea yeah, give me some credit...
if spock comes when the 3d's not working, he will only reply "thats highly illogical" and leave the camera broken. I think Scotty will be your better bet :-)

Nobody's mentioned that downright unstable di-lithium power source. Shouldn't it have a "call Scotty" system too!

What good is 'call Scotty' button? All he ever said was I don't think she can take it anymore? What would be useful is the cloaking device button so I can approach all the skittish fish with no problem! Hopefully I won't have to decloak when I press the shutter ala new cloaking device in Star Trek VII or VIII or whatever movie it was!

In other news I just found out last night randomly that Scotty is dead and that he had his ashes launched into space as a dying wish .. to beam me up scotty .... fun huh

Clearly this cannot be production model. I was assured that it would have a 14" diagonal TFT screen and PhotoShop pre-loaded.

One nice function of this camera I just learned about is if you have a problem you just beam it back to Canon and then when fixed they beam it right back!
