Ron Boyes
Hi All,
Would appreciate your advice on which TC to buy to suit D2x with AF S VR 70-200 Lens

thanks

I'm using a Kenon Pro 300 (OEM for Tamron), which works well. It cuts down a fair bit of light (like all TCs), but AF speed does not seem affected too much...

Everybody at the newspaper uses the daylights out of the TC-14E. Everything works and it's razor sharp as long as you're not shooting into something bright.

It's good enough that I've stopped grabbing the 300 2.8 most of the time.

All the best, James

Either the TC-14E or TC-17E. Both work well. But not the 2x. It doesn't seem to produce as sharp a picture.

I'm Using the Kenko Pro 300 DX.

seems fine to me, 2 stop light loss as normal. but my images are sharp

i take it your not actually going to use a 70-200 underwater ?

here's an image shot with a sigma 70-210 F2.8 with the kenko attached.
