Full Version: Acrylic Dome and Rain-X?
Looking to do some over/under shots with the 10.5 behind an Aquatica 8"dome. Can you use Rain-X with it? Any other suggestions welcome
Rain-X bad. The alcohol degrades acrylic, which you'll see as crazing and cracks.
I use RVR Rain Repellent, which was built for acrylic, has no alcohol, and works as well as Rain-x (although not as durable).

For acrylic ports, RainX = BAD, Johnson's Baby Shampoo = GOOD
