I am thinking on buying a Canon 5D and I would like to know if someone has used and even compared the Sigma 15 FE against Canon 15 FE in a full frame digital slr camera.

Does it exist any visible difference between them? (I mean in terms of image quality)

I've seen that Sigma has a closer minimum focus distance which I understand is an interesting feature for extreme wide angle close ups. And I've also seen people using that lense with analog cameras with a very good results.

I will apreciate any opinion about that

Hi,
I've tried with both and got a sigma for two reasons:

- focus distance
- price (less $100,00)

Canon and sigma had slow focus and I saw no diference about the optical quality.
