The design is done and now it's off to production, a realistic shipping date will be late February, 2006.

So that is quite a few then!

You could have had two months use of a housing complete with eTTL2 conversion circuitry by February............

Ike, I thought I read in this forum you were working on some kind of viewfinder magnifier? Would this be incorporate in the D5 housing?
