Nauticam announces the NA-D7100 housing
Nauticam USA has announced the specifications of their housing for the Nikon D7100 SLR camera. Shipping from 5 May at a US retail price of $3,200, the NA-D7100 features ISO, image review, record and AF/AE lock levers, a new lever to activate the camera’s info button and a locking control for the mode dial lock button.
Nauticam releases LCD magnifier and sunscreen
Nauticam USA has announced the release of a combined sunscreen and magnifier for compact camera housings. This will both magnify and shade the LCD screens on many Nauticam compact and mirrorless camera housings. The unit has a dioptic adjustment that allows the user to add to correct the optic for their eyes.
First images: Nauticam housing for the Panasonic GH3
As reported in the Wetpixel forum, images of Nauticam’s housing for the Panasonic DMC-GH3 camera have been added to the Nauticam China website. Details of the housing are still to be released, but it seems that the exposure compensation, ISO and white balance controls are all located close to the shutter release, with the buttons at different heights to allow for tactile feedback. A back plate will be available for use with Nauticam’s magnifying viewfinders if required. Prices and release dates are to be confirmed.
Nauticam unveils the NA-EOSM
Nauticam USA has announced the imminent release of their housing for the Canon EOS M EVIL camera. The manufacturer states that the housing’s controls closely mimic those of the camera and give access to the 4-way control pad and control wheel. The housing will accommodate the Canon Speedlite 90EX, so strobes can be controlled via fiber optic. Port support is offered for the EF-M 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 and the EF-M 22mm f/2 pancake lens. In addition, Nauticam has designed a port and focus gear for the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 EF lens mounted on the EF-EOS M Mount Adapter.

Nauticam announces housing for Canon G15
Nauticam has announced the imminent release of their housing for the Canon PowerShot G15 compact camera. The NA-G15 is made of aluminum and gives access to the programmable front and rear command dials as well as the mode and exposure dials. It also has a 67mm thread for attaching wet lenses and, as their press release points out, this gives the option of attaching Inon’s UWL-S100 ZM80 wide conversion lens and/or its additional dome lens unit. Lastly, the housing has fiber optic ports for strobe triggering.
The NA-G15 will be available from 1 March at a US retail price of $1050.
