IPTC releases study about metadata stripping

The International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC) has just released the results of a second test that studied how social media sites interact with metadata. Most Wetpixel members are aware that metadata is important to track image usage and ensure that copyrights are not violated. Only one of the social media sites tested, Behance, retained all metadata. In fact many of the sites were removing more metadata now than they were in 2013.
