Sealux has released details of their housing for the Panasonic Lumix GH3 mirrorless camera. The CSGH3 gives access to most camera functions, and can be fitted with an (optional) HDMI bulkhead. The company has designed a new camera saddle to allow for a precise fit, and flash synchronization is available via fiber optic ports.

Ikelite announces its housing for the LUMIX GH3

Ikelite has launched its Smart Housing for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds camera. This represents a departure for the company as it is its first housing for a mirrorless or EVIL camera. The housing is immediately recognizable as an Ikelite and shares the TTL flash control and polycarbonate design of its siblings, but also moves the video and AF lock controls onto the side of the housing for thumb activation.

Nauticam releases its housing for the GH3

Nauticam has finally officially released their housing for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3. The NA-GH3 was first spotted on the Nauticam China website, and was exhibited at the NAB show. Since then there have queries about the launch date on the forum. Nauticam USA has now confirmed that it will be shipping from 27 May at a US retail price of $2250.

First images: Nauticam housing for the Panasonic GH3

As reported in the Wetpixel forum, images of Nauticam’s housing for the Panasonic DMC-GH3 camera have been added to the Nauticam China website. Details of the housing are still to be released, but it seems that the exposure compensation, ISO and white balance controls are all located close to the shutter release, with the buttons at different heights to allow for tactile feedback. A back plate will be available for use with Nauticam’s magnifying viewfinders if required. Prices and release dates are to be confirmed.
