Sony poised to revolutionise image sensors
It looks as if Sony is poised to revolutionise sensor technology. PetaPixel has posted an article about a new patent made by the company that appears to show a whole new technique of recording color information at pixel level. “Active-Pixel Color Sampling” (APACS) uses a pixel level moving electronic color filter to sense RGB information, rather than the conventional interpolation process.
