Photographers, be careful of Mac OS Snow Leopard upgrade

In particular, photographers should note that Nikon doesn’t recommend updating yet, and CaptureOne currently requires a workaround. Also, there were rumors that Adobe Creative Suite 3 (including Photoshop) wouldn’t work on Snow Leopard, but those rumors have been debunked.

Basically, grab your software box for the serial number only. Other than that, all else is workie workie according to the Lightroom folks with 2.4--the latest update. http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/ Thanks for the heads up Eric!
Posted by JasonBradley on 2009-09-01 13:47:18 From what I've learnt over the years with these major Mac OSX upgrades, it seems best to wait off upgrading until they're into a couple of updates (in this case 10.6.2'ish...) It allows any bugs and creases to be ironed out with compatibility etc... I can't wait to take advantage of the added 64 bit usability and the Grand Central Dispatch..... :O
