Lumix 2003 Digital Photography Awards
Enter the Lumix 2003 Digital Photography Awards!
Now is your chance to enter this year's Lumix Award 2003, and win yourself a Lumix Digital Still Camera, and Tungsten T Handheld from Palm, as well as the main prize of an international 7-day photographic workshop.
The theme this year is "Man & Machine". Mankind has always had an interesting relationship with technology. Love it or hate it - where would we be without technology? You are invited to explore the positive aspects to this relationship. It's open to your own interpretation and can be as broad as you feel appropriate.
The Lumix award is all about creativity and the unique aspects of digital photography. The versatile features of digital cameras allow you to throw off the restrictions of conventional film and introduce you to a whole new way of taking photographs. Have fun and experiment!
To enter, just visit the Lumix Award website at www.lumixaward.com, register and then upload your images. It couldn't be easier.
All photographs entered into the competition must be taken with a digital camera.
The competition is open for six months from the 1st June 2003 to 30th November 2003 and will be judged by a panel of respected professional photographers. The judging process will take place in December 2003. Each month there will also be a monthly prize winner who will receive a Lumix DMC-FZ1 still camera and a Tungsten T handheld from Palm.
The main prize is participation for two people in a week-long photographic workshop in a European country. Airfares, accommodation and meals will be arranged and paid for by Panasonic. Specific details of the workshop and the exact dates will be posted on the Lumix Award website in the near future.
