Wetpixel member Jon Anderson has launched a series of cold water extension knobs called EZKnobs for Inon and Sea&Sea strobes on Kickstarter. They are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, fit right over the existing strobe controls and are retained using a pair of stainless steel set screws.

For those backing the project the EZKnobs will ship in December and are priced at $40/pair,

Kickstarter launched for EZKnobs for Underwater Strobes

Jon Anderson just launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding to offer the EZKnobs that he designed for himself to others underwater photographers. The goal of the project is to offer durable high quality extension knobs that make controlling strobes easier while wearing thick gloves during cold water diving.

The Kickstarter Campaign offers one product that is compatible with the Inon Z-240/D-2000 strobes and another that is compatible with the Sea & Sea YS-D2 strobe.

If the Kickstarter is successful, the knobs will begin shipping in December 2017.
