KDietz.com @ Intl Photo Hall of Fame

Karl and Kimberly Dietz currently have an exhibition at the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Karl writes:

As a result of our website, www.kdietz.com, Kimberly and I have been invited to display 30 of our best images in a solo exhibit featuring underwater photography in the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. IPHF is a well respected organization in this region that promotes awareness and education of the history of photography. Their past exhibits have included notable photographers, so we consider it an honor to be asked to display.

If you are in the area from February 4 thru April 30, please make plans to visit the exhibit. We will be attending a reception on February 4, 6pm-8pm.

This link will take you to their announcement of the exhibit.

More, from Karl:

Our exhibit kicked off last weekend. I took these shots before people started arriving. The lighting was very low and I shot these with my new D200 at ISO 800 and hand held at around 1/10sec. They aren’t as sharp as I would like but they show the scope of the exhibit. The prints were well received by the mainly non-diving crowd (32 mounted prints at 13” x 19”, on display for 3 months).

I met Wetpixel member Jay Treat. He drove down from Tulsa to meet Kimberly and me. It was nice to put a face to a 3 year long internet buddy.

I asked why us? The director said that she did an internet search and found our site. She liked the fact that we were in the region (200 miles +/-) and she liked the quality and variety of our photos.

I took the attached shot with my new D200.
