Thomas Ley of Erfurt, Germany has published this stunning image of a humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) that he captured in Tonga in August this year. The image was taken with a Nikon D7000 and a Nikon 10.5m fisheye lens in a Seacam housing. Settings were f13 at 1/80 and ISO 250.

Thomas posted the image on the Wetpixel Facebook Group. He entitled the image “when we finally learn that we are not the largest or biggest of the world”.
