Ikelite announces Nikon D90 underwater housing

The polycarbonate housing, rated to 200ft (60m) features iTTL conversion circuitry for Ikelite’s DS strobes, providing “four 1/3-f/stop increment flash compensation” and “seven manual power settings in half-stop increments,” and offers access to all camera modes, including D-Movie and Live View.

It looks to me that all important control functions of the Ikelite D80 housing work for the D90. Except the (less essential?) four push buttons at the right side of the housing with the OK button in the middle. Also, the Live view (video) and the Info control buttons at the right side cannot be controlled properly in the D80 housing. So in my tentative opinion, the D90 can be used as a suitable but not ideal backup camera for people using the D80 with the standard Ikelite housing. Regards, Albert Kok

I suppose that only the buttons on the right of the screen canno't be available. Except this, i don't see any problem to use it. Does someone already tried ?
