Two of Howard Hall’s seminal underwater films now available to view on Amazon Video. The award winning films, Seasons of the Sea and Shadows in a Desert Sea, have been remastered, converted to a 16:9 aspect ratio and have had many of the original images replaced with HD imagery.

Seasons of the Sea

Seasons of the Sea was originally made as a episode of the PBS Series, Nature. The film won Best of Show at Wildscreen 1990 and the Festival Choice Award at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival in 1991.

Originally captured in standard 16mm film, Seasons of the Sea has been remastered, converted to a 16×9 format and many of the original standard definition images have been replaced with full HD imagery.

Seasons of the Sea is now available for viewing on Amazon’s Xive Channel and can be viewed for free by Amazon Prime members.

Shadows in a Desert Sea

Shadows in a Desert Sea was originally made as a episode of the PBS Series, Nature. The film won Best Cinematography at Wildscreen 1992, the Grand Prize at the Antibes Film Festival in 1992, and many other awards.
