Join professional photographers DAVID FLEETHAM and SHAWN HEINRICHS for a photo and video shootout at one of the most energized shark dives in the world in one of the world’s top dive destinations – the Fiji islands!

Aqua-Trek’s Ultimate Shark Encounter™ provides a stage for success for those once-in-a-lifetime shark images and videos. Nurse sharks, lemon sharks, silvertip, whitetip, blacktip, grey reef, bull sharks (huge) and tiger sharks (enormous) all frequent this amazing dive. Howard Hall says, “On one dive, you will see more species of sharks than the average diver sees in a lifetime! This dive is a must do.”

We only take 10 divers, providing each attendee with optimal opportunities to score that amazing, award-winning image. really cool shark dive when i did it we were lucky enough to see the largest of the three tiger sharks (3.5 m)

There is no place on earth that has the variety and numbers that this unique location offers. I am however somewhat disappointed by your choice of operations that you have chosen to work with for your "shark shoot out". The protection of this area is paramount to the protection of the sharks that visit it! However this operator has taken it upon himself to start a shark feeding enterprise outside the recognized and government protected shark marine preserve. By doing this he has knowingly put these sharks at risk to longliners who still operate just outside the marine park boundries. There are operators who work with scientists and shark biologists within the guidelines of the "shark park" as well as offer the most intense, up close, safe and professional experience found anywhere for the avid shark photographer. I have dove both areas with all operators extensively for several years and can only say.....that you are making a poor choice. The funds raised by divers and shark photographers using the Shark Marine Preserve go directly to supporting the local village economy. Your operator gives nothing back to the economy! These villages in turn are now dedicated to the protection of these sharks and reefs within the preserve and the goal is no longer "profit" thru exploitation but rather an eco tourism success story. There is a reason why Beqa Adventure Divers was chosen by the World Challenge of Conservation as a pure operaion which positively impacts a local economy with its strong environmental work. If you want hours of time photographing sharks each day you will strongly take a close look at the two operations that use these animals as their backdrop. One operation works within the guidelines of shark conservation within a sanctioned marine preserve that protects these animals for generations to come and one that simply operates for profit with no regard for the future of these animals.
