Digideep 2006 Photo Expeditions

In January 2006 PADI introduced the new course for Digital Underwater Photography.  It is finally a course that is especially tailored to the needs of the digital underwater photographer. Affordable technology and digital know-how allows even beginners to ride a steep learning curve within a few days. Under the guidance of a digital photo professional it is your chance to take unforgettable and maybe award winning photos during the next dive holiday.

Could you imagine taking exactly that course directed by one of the co-developers aboard the supreme-service King Snefro III, while photographing the world famous reefs of the Marine National Parks in the Red Sea? If that is “yes” – you will have your chance this summer. Marine wildlife photographers and creators of the world-famous DIGIDEEP.com website Lars Kirchhoff and Andi Voeltz are leading two exclusive trips to share all their digital know-how with you. Take the perfect digital plunge this summer!

About the Course Directors

Lars Kirchhoff is a well published and award winning underwater photographer, as well as a digital wiz-kid. Andreas “Andi” Voeltz is a frequently published marine wildlife photo- and videographer, also PADI’s main consultant and instructor trainer for digital underwater photography. Both of them started underwater photography with digital cameras and never shot film. Let them un-mystify the myths of digital underwater photography for you. There is almost no digital photo technique they haven’t tried and cannot consult. You will benefit from their digital know-how, no matter if you:

1) Are just about to take your start in digital underwater photography
2) Migrating from a classic analogue u/w photo system to digital
3) Want to test a new digital photo camera and housing (stipulated upon request)
4) Get the maximum out of the digital u/w photo system you just bought

Course Fees and Materials Included

If you sign up for your digital photo course on King Snefro this summer, you will receive your own Digital Underwater Photography (D.U.P.) Manual and White Balance slate, as well as a PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Diploma and Certification. This alone is worth 55 EUR and already included in the course costs. Upon request Andi will be happy to personally sign your workbook that he has developed in conjunction with PADI. The PADI DUP Specialty Certification is your VIP-Ticket to worldwide upcoming special offers to cater the needs of the digital underwater photographer. Furthermore it will take you one step closer to completing your PADI Master Scuba Diving Challenge - the worldwide VIP-Ticket for living your diving dream anywhere you go.
