When I stopped by the Bonica Precision booth, Kenneth Ho showed off the Snapper-XP and Snapper DV. The Snapper-XP system includes the Snapper 5.0 5MP digital camera and is easily paired with the Neon-XP underwater strobe. The Snapper-XP features the Bonica “double-protection system,” designed to reduce shock and increase water resistance of the camera in the housing, and is rated to 55m.

Bonica is also introducing a second-generation version of the Snapper-DV digital video camera and form-fitting housing, available in both regular resolution and 720p HDV. The video camera will also utilize the “double-protection system.”

On display was the MT09 halogen video light with adjustable 30W/50W output power setting and an 80 degree beam angle. The light runs for one hour at 50W on a new lithium-ion polymer battery.
