Action cam manufacturer Contour has closed its doors and ceased production. Despite the company having plans for a revamped and improved range of products in 2013/14, the owners took what they felt was a “financially responsible and prudent” decision and literally locked their workforce out last Friday. The reasons cited for the failure are the prominence of GoPro in the market and the company’s Seattle base making it difficult to access funding.
