Regulations announced in the past 48 hours prohibit carrying most electronic goods (including cameras) as cabin baggage on flights to the U.S.A. and U.K. from certain destinations. For flights to the U.S., flights originating or transmitting via Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are affected.

For flights to the U.K., the list is Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Tunisia.

For flights from the countries listed above, any device bigger than 16.0 x 9.3 x 1.5cm, such as laptops, tablets, eReaders or cameras must be stored in checked, hold baggage.
