Blancpain has launched their Ocean Commitment website celebrating the history of diving, a Fifty Fathoms book all about the history of ocean exploration and a new watch, the Bathyscape Chronograph Flyback.

For more than sixty years now Blancpain has been contributing to raise awareness through ocean exploration. The brand believes that people can only respect and protect what they love, and love what they know. To serve this mission, Blancpain strongly supports major scientific expeditions such as National Geographic’s Pristine Seas Expeditions and Laurent Ballesta’s Project Gombessa. Each year, Blancpain releases an edition of Fifty Fathoms, a publication dedicated to the underwater world and distinguished by the quality of its photographs in an effort to increase people’s knowledge and concern about the ocean.
